Overview                                                                                           

AOP(ArchiMate® Operational Pragmatic) 3.0 is a practical course based on ArchiMate® 3.0 which gives not only in-depth knowledge of ArchiMate® but also hands-on experience in modeling with ArchiMate® using simulated real world case studies

ArchiMate®, from The Open Group, is the industry standard Architecture modeling specification. Using ArchiMate® to drive your organization's IT strategy and planning provides the coverage necessary to address the Enterprise Architecture domains from Business, Application, and Technology Architecture

Candidates who have completed this course will be able to use ArchiMate® to model and develop Architecture artifacts by:

  • Understanding Archimate® modeling notation
  • Complete understanding of Archimate ® 3.0
  • Getting practical experience on how to use Archimate® in their work

What is ArchiMate® standard?

The ArchiMate® Specification, an Open Group Standard, is an open and independent modeling language for Enterprise Architecture that is supported by different tool vendors and consulting firms. The ArchiMate Specification provides instruments to enable Enterprise Architects to describe, analyze, and visualize the relationships among business domains in an unambiguous way.

Target Audience

This course is aimed at organizations undertaking, or planning to undertake, the design and implementation of enterprise architecture for the support of mission-critical business applications. It is suitable for all CxOs, architects (Enterprise Architects, Business Architects, Solution Architects, Infrastructure Architects, and Data Architects etc), IT Program and Project managers, who are directly or indirectly responsible for implementing Enterprise Architecture. It is equally applicable to organizations in the public and private sector.

Approach

This course can be attended either an in-person classroom or Virtual classroom environment.  The course is delivered by Enterprise Architecture professionals who are contributors to Archimate® and who also have ongoing experience in implementing Enterprise Architecture at various clients.

The Virtual classroom course will be conducted by a live instructor through webex which gives an opportunity to the candidates to interact with instructor and other course attendees and brainstorm their ideas.

The course material will be provided prior to the course so that the candidates can refer to the material during the course.
